Brad Barker, an ASE Certified Master School Bus Technician with over 30 years hands on experience in the school bus industry offers his expertise in this one of a kind instructional manual. Brad has served on several committees in the state of Utah and represented school bus technicians on the writing committee for the 2010 National Congress for School Transportation Specifications Sub-Committee. In 2006, Brad representing Utah State School Bus Technicians at America's Best Technician Competition, taking first place in the nation.
Brad has been involved with the Utah State Technician Training Committee for many years. He helped Utah state with the introduction of the CDL drivers handbook many years ago. Born and raised in Utah,
Brad has worked on BlueBird, Thomas and IC buses for over 30 years. Brad has taught multiplexing and electronic classes.
Brad enjoyes interacting with people who maintain or own buses of all brands and sizes.
His own time is spent with family. He enjoys wood carving, fly fishing, camping and traveling this great land of ours with his wife Linda.
